Bryce Canyon National Park - Hoodoos
These are called hoodoos. The word hoodoo means to bewitch, which is what these rock formations surely do. There is a large concentration of hoodoos in Utah, particularly in Bryce Canyon National Park. These hoodoos hold minerals that make them appear to be a pinkish color, especially when the rising or setting sun bounces off their surfaces. At Bryce Canyon, hoodoos range in size from that of a human, to heights taller than a 10 nstory building.
